Here we are almost the end of August 2021, I’m still in lockdown! It’s ok though I’ve been flat out busy and all is good. I know I’m one of the lucky ones and extremely grateful for that too.
So here, although not finished yet, because this is not my normal genre and I’m a lot slower at this, is my Aurifil Artisan August Challenge. Yep Paper Piecing, I’ve done it before admittedly a few years ago now and I do enjoy it. The pattern I found on Etsy called ‘Atomic Bombshell’ using the fabrics I just adore from Tim Holtz latest collection. Anyhow I have enlarged it from lap size to single bed size I think?? It’s going to suit our new place by the beach which is Mid Century/Industrial style.
Regardless of all that, I love the fabrics, doing a some paper piecing again and using my Aurifil thread for piecing. It makes life interesting.
