I am thrilled to share that my textile art piece, "Sound of Silence," won three awards at the Vic Quilters Showcase 2024, including the prestigious Runner-Up Best of Show. This recognition means so much to me and validates the hard work and passion poured into this piece and all my pieces.

You have time to see my polychromatic Lion art quit at the Craft and Quilt Fair on at Exhibition & Convention Centre until this Saturday 27th July 2024. Along with the Best of Show, Linda Crouch’s ‘A Magical Winter Garden’ which is simply breathtaking. This years show is truly worth seeing, the quilt exhibition are so diverse and congratulations to all that entered and showed the pieces as well congratulations to all that received a prize. Also a huge thank you to all the sponsors whom donate so these prizes can happen. Times are tough for all and it’s so nice to receive a gift from the organisations, all sorts of businesses whom are our sponsors.

In more news, I’m delighted to announce that I will be teaching at the Port Douglas Sewing Up a Tropical Storm event in March 2025. Come be part of a rare workshop by me and create your own little Puddles Platypus, in a fabulous part of Australia. I look forward to sharing my techniques and passion for textile art with fellow enthusiasts. So that’s it for now as I prepare for my trip to Ethiopia with the talented photographer Jayne McLean.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support and encouragement!
