Well I did it! I finally spoke at Waverley Patchworkers. Thanks Linda Steele for being so very kind and helpful. What a truly lovely bunch of ladies. Everyone who knows or has met me knows I can talk. Put me in front of a microphone or on a stage then all the words disappear!! I fluffed my way through but I had the best support from Linda and 3 of great ladies on stage helping to show off my pieces including my friend Naomi Hynes and not forget Karen whom I gave my camera to, to take a couple pictures. Thank you to all who came, it’s so lovely to be part of such friendly lot! xx

Really enjoyed seeing and hearing about your journey into art quilting. I would love to do a workshop with you on your technique. I have been trying to build up the courage to have a go at that cheeky emu but I’m not quite there yet.
