August is nearly over! Wow, the year has gone so quickly.
As it’s been too long again since updating the news here on my website. I want to spend a bit of time to actually work out some things here and maybe get an email list happening in the months ahead so I can send out to whom are interested in knowing where my work is being exhibited or even exhibitions that I’m involved in. More on this soon.
Coming up in the immediate future though is an exhibit of some of my works at Bernina Academy 2022 in October. Details and tickets to this event just click here . This is going to be fun and I’ll be there in some of the classes being held, YAY!
In the meantime, I’ve managed to get my August Aurifil Artisan Challenge completed, this month was Applique. While I have my own way of doing my thread sketching and applique to suit, I don’t do applique the neat way via machine. I always seem to mess it up. Anyway, I enrolled into Rachelle Denneny Designs, Harmony Quilt Online class then whola, Rachelle is so clear with instructions it’s pretty hard not to get this right. While I’ve only done block 1 for now. I’ve turned it into a cushion cover for my son’s place.
