So here in Victoria, Australia we are having lock downs still and whilst I’m fine with it there are lots out there from all walks of life that are not. I’d just like to say, take care and stay strong. I know I sound like a politician, but I do feel that way.
I’m certainly keeping busy in lots of ways but my Dogs will always need me and so does my Art! I have days I don’t want to do a thing, but push past it and just get on with it.
With that I’ve been working on my piece Born to be Wild, from a photo I took in Botswana in 2018. I’m posting the occasional progress photos on social media. Worthwhile following either on Instagram or Facebook to see the latest.
Now if you are stuck at home and in a rut I still have a few limited edition Tram Route No 10 jigsaws available and you can always sign up for the online ‘Vintage Camera’ class via Lesley Mays Patchwork too. I’m blown away with the amazing results from some of the participants that have already finished.
I also do have an online Lecture/Zoom ‘My Textile World’ talk for your group or guild. This is where you can see, talk to me and I can not only show you my pieces but hear some of the stories behind them. Please contact me for times, prices etc.
