I’ve got a free hour or two to start quilting my free form piece I started in a Irene Roderick class. I’ve not used the Aurifil clear nylon thread before on my Q20 machine… love it! Great for stitch in the ditch 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Whoohoo very happy indeed!
So this is happening too! Hope some of you get a chance to see this exhibition too during June. Check out the artists, they’re all so amazing and I get to be on display with them.
8 more sleeps….AQC is coming. Yipppeee!
She Matters meets Born To Be Wild for the first time! 😃 both home safe and sound from the USA ! Next stop Brisbane AQC for my own ‘little’ exhibit.
Omg where will it end? Dancing with the wall class with Irene Roderick @hixsonir ! It’s fabulous! #fromthecomfortzone #suedevannyart #improv #improvpiecing #dancingwiththewall #sewmuchfun #staytuned #ireneroderick
Since 2019 my ‘On Reflection, Habour Fenders Cape Town’ or the Tyres have been touring Europe with some hiccups, a virus I believe. But touring non the less and now it’s last exhibit before it makes its way back home. So if you are lucky enough to be traveling, even in the vicinity, please go see this exhibit. It’s truly amazing #brouage #textileexhibition #francetextile #europetextile #suedevannyart #textileartist #textileart

My Last Monday today at my Solo Exhibition.

26 April 2021Filed Under: Aurilfil, Bernina, Current Exhibitions, Mixed Media, News Leave a Comment

So today was my last Monday at my solo exhibition at Kyabram Town Hall Gallery. Lots of fun lots of people, including friends family and familiar faces were all there when I started my talk/walk around on the well known pieces. then some information on techniques with some of the other pieces.

So if you haven’t had a chance but have been meaning to make the trip to Kyabram, please make it this week, as it all comes to an end on Friday 30th April.

Thank you to all that have come to visit on the days I was there and also to the ones whom couldn’t get there on a Monday but visited during the other times and kept the staff and management happy at the Gallery.

An extra special thanks to the lovely staff/volunteers at the beautiful Kyabram Town Hall Gallery, your help and friendliness has just been so wonderful and delightful and can’t thank you enough.

I’m starting at where it began.
